GNUnet 是一个匿名的, 分布的, 基于用户声誉(reputation-based)的网络服务系统. 其在网络层上实现的第一个服务允许"抗检查"(censorship-resistant)的文件共享.
我们的目的是想提供一个安全的网络架构. 所有GNUNet的通讯都是建立在用户验定和加密的基础上的. GNUNet所使用的声誉模型(reputation model)使网络攻击更为困难. 同时, GNUNet不倚赖任何集中式的网络服务.
尽管我们的文件共享的目的类似于其它的项目, 如 Freenet, Gnutella, MojoNation, 但我们更侧重于安全而不是效能,
希望能借此提供更好的功能.
