Crypt-Skip32 version 0.06 ========================= Crypt::Skip32 is a 80-bit key, 32-bit block cipher based on Skipjack. The Perl code for the algorithm is a direct translation from C to Perl of skip32.c by Greg Rose found here: http://www.qualcomm.com.au/PublicationsDocs/skip32.c Crypt::Skip32 differs from other encryption algorithms in that it has a fairly small cipher block of 32 bits (4 bytes). This allows Crypt::Skip32 to be used to encrypt numeric values with a short encrypted text length (useful for encoding ids in URLs and the like). INSTALLATION To install this module type the following: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install DEPENDENCIES This module requires no other modules and libraries to run. The base unit tests require the following modules: Test::More Test::Exception If any of the following modules are installed, further unit tests will be run: Crypt::CBC Test::Pod Test::Pod::Coverage Test::Signature COPYRIGHT AND LICENCE Copyright (C) 2007 Eric Hammond http://www.anvilon.com/ This library is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the same terms as Perl itself, either Perl version 5.8.8 or, at your option, any later version of Perl 5 you may have available.
