Directory-Queue The goal of this module is to offer a simple queue system using the underlying filesystem for storage, security and to prevent race conditions via atomic operations. It focuses on simplicity, robustness and scalability. This module allows multiple concurrent readers and writers to interact with the same queue. A Python implementation of the same algorithm is available at http://code.google.com/p/dirq so readers and writers can even be written in different languages. INSTALLATION To install this module, run the following commands: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install SUPPORT AND DOCUMENTATION After installing, you can find documentation for this module with the perldoc command. perldoc Directory::Queue LICENSE AND COPYRIGHT Copyright (C) 2010 CERN This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of either: the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; or the Artistic License.
