NAME App::GnuplotUtils - Utilities related to plotting data using gnuplot VERSION This document describes version 0.002 of App::GnuplotUtils (from Perl distribution App-GnuplotUtils), released on 2020-12-10. DESCRIPTION This distributions provides the following command-line utilities. They are mostly simple/convenience wrappers for gnuplot: * xyplot FUNCTIONS xyplot Usage: xyplot(%args) -> [status, msg, payload, meta] Plot XY dataset(s) using gnuplot. Example "input1.txt", each line contains whitespace-separated values of X data (number), Y data (number): 1 1 2 3 3 5.5 4 7.9 6 11.5 Example using "xyplot" (one data-set): % xyplot < input1.txt Example "input2.txt": 1 8 2 12 3 5 4 4 6 8 Using two datasets: % xyplot --dataset-file input1.txt --dataset-file input2.txt \ --dataset-color red --dataset-color blue \ --dataset-style linespoints --dataset-style points Keywords: xychart, XY chart, XY plot This function is not exported. Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments): * chart_title => *str* * dataset_files => *array[filename]* Dataset(s) from file(s). * dataset_styles => *array[str]* Dataset plot style(s). * dataset_titles => *array[str]* Dataset title(s). * datasets => *array[array]* Dataset(s). * field_delimiter => *str* Supply field delimiter character in dataset file instead of the default whitespace(s). Returns an enveloped result (an array). First element (status) is an integer containing HTTP status code (200 means OK, 4xx caller error, 5xx function error). Second element (msg) is a string containing error message, or 'OK' if status is 200. Third element (payload) is optional, the actual result. Fourth element (meta) is called result metadata and is optional, a hash that contains extra information. Return value: (any) HOMEPAGE Please visit the project's homepage at .
