The Week In Linux ================= Josh Templin jtemplin@ub.d.umn.edu The Week in Linux is an audio 'newscast' of current events in the Linux community. It is usually several minutes long and touches lightly on some of the more prominent topics concerning Linux. It is designed to be a quick, concise, and entertaining source of information. The Week in Linux is currently EXPERIMENTAL, and it's growth is dependent on listener response. Once you finish listening to The Week in Linux, please drop an e-mail note to the above address and tell us what you think. We are very interested to know if a project like this should continue. So far sources for The Week in Linux are limited. We have access to all the newsgroups, but none of us really has the time to read beyond cola. What we ask is for YOU to send us newsworthy information. If you learn something interesting about Linux we ask you mail us the information for inclusion in the next The Week in Linux. You will receive full credit for your submissions. We also plan to have audio 'interviews' with some of the more prominent members in the Linux Community. No plans are set, but once things get rolling, people will get contacted. If you have something to say, fell free to contact us and we can arrange for an 'interview'. Issue #1 of TWIL was put together rather quickly, and we expect, if listener response is good, that TWIL will improve. We are also counting on you to send newsworthy information about Linux to us. Unfortunately, 'we' is actually 'I' at this point, and I cannot devote most of the week to gathering the news... but if things go well, 'I' will become 'we'! Thanks for listening to The Week in Linux, and please send comments, questions, or criticisms to jtemplin@ub.d.umn.edu. THANKS!
