Review: Die bekannte Vermutung, daß für ganzzahlige k > 1, l > 1 ein Produkt von k aufeinanderfolgenden natürlichen Zahlen keine l-te Potenz sein kann, wird für l = 2 und beliebige k bewiesen. In einem Zusatz bei der Korrektur weist der Verf. auf das (kurz vorher veröffentlichte) etwas weitergehende Resultat von O.Rigge hin (vgl. Zbl 021.01003).
