Title: Strategies for Seeing

We shall study the mathematical basis for computer vision using ideas from pattern theory. Starting from some general principles for vision several strategies for seeing will be derived and implemented by computer code. Using the code computer experiments have been carried out in order to examine the performance of the resulting inference engines for vision.
