This is Pango.
Pango is a library for layout and rendering of text, with an emphasis
on internationalization. Pango can be used anywhere that text layout
is needed, though most of the work on Pango so far has been done in
the context of the GTK+ widget toolkit. Pango forms the core of text
and font handling for GTK+-2.x.
In this directory you will find:
1.12/ Old Stable Series Pango 1.12
1.13/ Old Development Series Pango 1.13
1.14/ Current Stable Series Pango 1.14
Note that older versions of Pango can be found in the directories
below ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk.
