Starting the Manager

Starting RAID Agents and Configuration Client
2. Starting the Manager
1. Starting RAID Agents
Under Windows 2000:
Once properly installed, the RAID Agents start automatically under Windows 2000
each time the server on which the manager is installed is started or reset.
However, the event notification functionality is separately managed and started
on the computer installed with the Configuration
Client utility. The event notification function is automatically
managed by the Root Agent and the Root Agent should be loaded automatically
whenever the server on which the utility is installed is started or reset.
2. Running the manager requires properly entering IP address and appropriate
parameters on the Connection Wizard to start the GUI part of the software manager.
