  The DDN NEWSLETTER is distributed online by the DDN Network
  Information Center under DISA contract as a means of communicating
  official policy, procedures and other information of concern to
  management personnel at DDN facilities.  Back issues may be read
  through the TACNEWS server ("@n" command at the TAC) or may be
  obtained by FTP (or Kermit) from the NIC.DDN.MIL host [192.112.36.5]
  using login="anonymous" and password="guest".  The pathname

    SUBJECT: CONUS MILNET/DSNET1 Node Site Coordinators Conference
    Tentative Agenda and Billeting Information

    1. The purpose of the MILNET/DSNET1 Node Site Coordinators
    Conference is to furnish the node site coordinator and the MILDEP
    service representatives with the most current information on
    activities and initiatives related to the unclassified and classified
    Defense Data Networks (DDN). The focus of this year's conference is the
    the DDN transition to the IP data service of the Defense Information
    Systems Network (DISN). The following is the tentative conference
    agenda. Please note that this is not a firm schedule of events and is
    subject to change. We will provide a final agenda prior to the start of
    the conference.

    2. In DDN News Letter 9402, we provided specific information on
    billeting, however USAISC/ASOP-OC provided additional information
    that changes the current reservation procedure. The USAISC
    Protocol Office is now the focal point for NSC Conference billeting
    arrangements. Attendees who have not made billeting arrangements with
    the Sierra Suites or the Sun Canyon Inn must contact the USAISC
    Protocol Office to make their billeting reservations. For attendees who
    made billeting reservations with the off base facilities, the
    reservations remain firm, however they must contact the USAISC Protocol
    Office to ensure they are included on the non-availability listing. The
    numbers to reach the protocol office are:
