For example, the postings from comp.unix.questions appear in the usenet-by-group/comp.unix.questions archive. usenet-by-hierarchy The same Usenet informational postings as those found in the usenet-by-group archive, but arranged hierarchically, e.g., the postings from comp.unix.questions appear in usenet-by-hierarchy/comp/unix/questions. usenet A link to the "usenet-by-group" archive mentioned above (i.e., referencing the "usenet" archive is equivalent ot referencing the "usenet-by-group" archive). usenet-addresses This directory contains a database of addresses which is updated periodically from the addresses in an entire Usenet news spool. You cannot actually retrieve any files from this archive via the mail server. Instead, when you try to request a file from this archive, it is assumed to be a name for which you want to search in the list of addresses. For more information about how to search, send the command "send usenet-addresses/help". voting Another virtual archive (like usenet-addresses). This archive does not actually contain any files; instead, it is used to conduct mail votes of various votes. Use "send voting/index" to get a list of current votes. wipe Directory. A program for the security-conscious. Writes zeros over disk files. (As advertised on alt.security.pgp and posted to alt.sources.) xscreensaver Sources for the X screen-locking program "xscreensaver."
