Introduction to Motti

GNU motti is a simple multiplayer, networked strategy game. The objective of the game is to conquer enemies' capitals by occupying and encircling their territories. The game map is an array of square cells.

Downloading Motti

Motti can be found on http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/motti/ [via http] and ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/motti/ [via FTP]. It can also be found on one of our FTP mirrors.

Mailing Lists/Newsgroups

Motti now has on mailing lists: <help-motti@gnu.org> and <bug-motti@gnu.org>.

The main discussion list is <help-motti@gnu.org>, and is used to discuss all aspects of Motti, including development and porting.

Announcements about Motti and most other GNU Software are made on <info-gnu@gnu.org> for gnu and <info-motti@gnu.org> for motti.

There is also a special list used for reporting bugs, <bug-motti@gnu.org>. For details on submitting a bug report, please see the section Report a Bug below.

To subscribe to any Motti mailing list, please send an empty mail with a Subject: header line of just "subscribe" to the relevant -request list. For example, to subscribe yourself to the main list, you would send mail to <help-motti-request@gnu.org> with no body and a Subject: header line of just "subscribe".
