4.7 Macros for doing arithmetic

Integer expressions are evaluated with eval:

\expr{expression}

which expands to the value of expression. The syntax for expressions is the same as in m4, except that // should be used instead of %. See section `Evaluating integer expressions' in The GNU m4 Manual. Integers appears in expression is converted to BigInteger in Java.
