Sec. 284b. Authorization of appropriations

    There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be 
necessary, but not in excess of $5,473,000, to carry out the purposes of 
this subchapter.

                               Amendments

    1972--Pub. L. 92-272 increased maximum sums authorized to be 
appropriated from not in excess of $600,000 to not in excess of 
$5,473,000.
