Sec. 824n. Authority relating to formation and operation of 
        regional transmission organizations
        
    Notwithstanding any other law, and without fiscal year limitation, 
each Federal Power Marketing Administration is authorized to engage in 
activities and solicit, undertake and review studies and proposals 
relating to the formation and operation of a regional transmission 
organization.

                          Codification

    Section was enacted as part of the Energy and Water Development 
Appropriations Act, 2001, and not as part of the Federal Power Act which 
generally comprises this chapter.
