Sec. 8407. Federal agency coordination


(a) Agency coordination

    The Secretaries of Education, Health and Human Services, Labor, 
Housing and Urban Development, Treasury, and Agriculture, and the 
Attorney General shall review the programs administered by their 
agencies to identify barriers to service coordination.

(b) Report to Congress

    Such Secretaries and the Attorney General shall submit jointly a 
report to the Congress not later than two years after October 20, 1994, 
based on the review required under subsection (a) of this section 
recommending legislative and regulatory action to address such barriers, 
and during the time preceding the submission of such report, shall use 
waiver authorities authorized under this chapter and other Acts to 
address such barriers.
