             SUBCHAPTER VIII--APPROPRIATIONS AND OTHER FUNDS
 
Sec. 1478. Reimbursement of program expenses from sources other 
        than appropriations; disposition of receipts
        
    The Secretary shall, when he finds it in the public interest, 
request and accept reimbursement from any cooperating governmental or 
private source in a foreign country, or from State or local governmental 
institutions or private sources in the United States, for all or part of 
the expenses of any portion of the program undertaken hereunder. The 
amounts so received shall be covered into the Treasury as miscellaneous 
receipts.
