                            TITLE 25--INDIANS
 
                  CHAPTER 9--ALLOTMENT OF INDIAN LANDS
 
Sec. 357. Condemnation of lands under laws of States

    Lands allotted in severalty to Indians may be condemned for any 
public purpose under the laws of the State or Territory where located in 
the same manner as land owned in fee may be condemned, and the money 
awarded as damages shall be paid to the allottee.

    Section is comprised of the second paragraph of section 3 of act 
Mar. 3, 1901. The first paragraph of such section 3 is classified to 
section 319 of this title.
