Sec. 22701. Organization

    (a) Federal Charter.--AMVETS (American Veterans of World War II, 
Korea, and Vietnam) (in this chapter, the ``corporation'') is a 
federally chartered corporation.
    (b) Perpetual Existence.--Except as otherwise provided, the 
corporation has perpetual existence.
