Sec. 756a. Retention of surplus generated from operation of 
        General Supply Fund
        
    The Administrator of the General Services Administration is 
authorized on and after June 5, 1981, to retain from any surplus 
generated from the operation of the General Supply Fund such sums as may 
be necessary to maintain a sufficient level of inventory of personal 
property to meet the needs of the Federal agencies.

                          Codification

    Section was enacted as part of the Supplemental Appropriations and 
Rescission Act, 1981, and not as part of the Federal Property and 
Administrative Services Act of 1949, part of which comprises this
