Sec. 3020f. Authorization of appropriations


(a) Administration

    For purposes of carrying out this chapter, there are authorized to 
be appropriated for the Administration such sums as may be necessary for 
fiscal years 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1995.

(b) Salaries and expenses

    There are authorized to be appropriated for salaries and expenses of 
the Administration on Aging--
        (1) $17,000,000 for fiscal year 1992, $20,000,000 for fiscal 
    year 1993, $24,000,000 for fiscal year 1994, and $29,000,000 for 
    fiscal year 1995; and
        (2) such additional sums as may be necessary for each such 
    fiscal year to enable the Assistant Secretary to provide for not 
    fewer than 300 full-time employees (or the equivalent thereof) in 
    the Administration on Aging.
