                     SUBCHAPTER III--LIVABLE CITIES
 
Sec. 8146. Authorization of appropriations

    There are authorized to be appropriated for carrying out the 
purposes of this subchapter not to exceed $5,000,000 for fiscal year 
1979, and not to exceed $5,000,000 for fiscal year 1980. Any amounts 
appropriated under this section shall remain available until expended.

                               Amendments

    1979--Pub. L. 96-153 reduced authorization of appropriation for 
fiscal year 1980 from ``$10,000,000'' to ``$5,000,000''.
