                 SUBCHAPTER IV--MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
 
Sec. 9166. Authorization of appropriations

    There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of 
Commerce, for the use of the Administrator in carrying out the 
provisions of this chapter, not to exceed $3,000,000 for the fiscal year 
ending September 30, 1981, not to exceed $3,500,000 for the fiscal year 
ending September 30, 1982, not to exceed $3,500,000 for the fiscal year 
ending September 30, 1983, not to exceed $480,000 for each of the fiscal 
years ending September 30, 1984 and September 30, 1985, and not to 
exceed $630,000 for each of the fiscal years ending September 30, 1986 
and September 30, 1987.

                               Amendments

    1984--Pub. L. 98-623 inserted provisions authorizing appropriations 
not to exceed $480,000 for each of the fiscal years ending September 30, 
1984 and September 30, 1985, and not to exceed $630,000 for each of the 
fiscal years ending September 30, 1986 and September 30, 1987.
