Sec. 620i. Expenditures; units excepted from soil survey and 
        land classification requirements
        
    Expenditures for the Flaming Gorge, Glen Canyon, Wayne N. Aspinall, 
and Navajo initial units of the Colorado River storage project may be 
made without regard to the soil survey and land classification 
requirements of section 390a \1\ of this title.

    Section 390a of this title, referred to in text, was in the original 
a reference to the Interior Department Appropriation Act, 1954. The soil 
survey and land classification requirements of that Act (act July 31, 
1953, ch. 298, 67 Stat. 261, 266) were classified to section 390a of 
this title, prior to repeal by Pub. L. 105-362, title IX, 
Sec. 901(e)(2), Nov. 10, 1998, 112 Stat. 3289.


                               Amendments

    1980--Pub. L. 96-375 substituted ``Wayne N. Aspinall'' for 
``Curecanti''.
