established eight hour work day for employees of railroads. See section

    Section 66, act Sept. 3, 5, 1916, ch. 436, Sec. 4, 39 Stat. 722, 
provided penalty for violation of section 65 of this title. See section 
28302 of Title 49, Transportation.


                               Short Title

    Act Sept. 3, 5, 1916, ch. 436, 39 Stat. 721, which enacted sections 
65 and 66 of this title, was popularly known as the ``Adamson Law''.
