Sec. 2106. Member of Congress

    For the purpose of this title, ``Member of Congress'' means the Vice 
President, a member of the Senate or the House of Representatives, a 
Delegate to the House of Representatives, and the Resident Commissioner 
from Puerto Rico.

                      Historical and Revision Notes

    The section is supplied to avoid the necessity of defining ``Member 
of Congress'' each time the term is used in this title.


                               Amendments

    1979--Pub. L. 96-54 substituted ``to the House of Representatives'' 
for ``from the District of Columbia''.
    1970--Pub. L. 91-405 included Delegate from District of Columbia.
