Hi,

Well, the 2.3.12 patch is on the FTP site. RAM disks are still broken
though, and the older ARM2/ARM3 stuff is in a terrible state (ie, don't
even try it).

I've tested this patch on a NetWinder and RiscPC, no guarantees for
other architectures though whatsoever.

Hi,

Linux 2.3.12-rmk2 is now on the FTP site. Currently, things that are probably
broken include:

* ARM2 and ARM3 support for old machines
* ramdisk
* FAT-based filesystems

Changes:

* new compiler options (untested)
* new configuration options for CPU
* automatic selection of compiler flags
* processor table automatically generated by the linker
* processor asm call optimisation on single processor type machines
* cleanup of code for machines which can have one of several CPUs
* make checkconfig fix
* various ARM port related files make checkconfig'd
* new resource code added to dma-isa.c and footbridge irq.h
* constants.h update arrangements rejigged
* partition code brought 100% up to date

You may now download patches for 2.2.11 and 2.3.13 from:

	ftp://ftp.arm.linux.org.uk/pub/armlinux/kernel-source

2.2.11
------

  This patches, naturally, are against Linus' source. They incorporate
  some of the fixes that are on Alan Cox's site (eg, TCP memory leak fix),
  so there's no need to apply these.

  Things changed:
  + DMA cache invalidation missing in tulip.c (fixed)
  + ioport actually included (ioperm removed in favour of iopl)
     (user programs, if they are careful and have the correct
      capability permissions, may access devices on 32-bit machines)
  + partition code cleanup and sync with 2.3.13

2.3.13
------

  Things changed:
  + See 2.2.11
  + a few small bugs in the handling of the new processor code
  + various patches from Phil applied

Hi All,

There is now a new CGI based patch state system on the web site. There
should be almost no functionality changes. Please check it out to make
sure it doesn't crash horribly.

If you find any problems, or have any suggestions for it, please feel
free to mail me.
