I can say as a certainty that it will NOT work on any architecture which has a non-zero physical memory offset. Depending on which patches get into Linus' kernel will depend on when this becomes available again. New features of 2.3.29: - Extra command-line arguments: nohlt disables wait-for-interrupt hlt enables wait-for-interrupt nocache disables the cache nowrite disables cache and writebuffer - architecture-specific setup cleaned up - page 0 protected against kernel writes in swapper/idle task - drivers/char/Config.in cleaned up - acornfb now supports composite sync and 50Hz display mode (640x250) - cyber2000fb now supports CyberPro 2010 - soft reboot code cleaned up Again, please note that this kernel will not work on some of the ARM architectures (RiscPC for example).
