The new mulinux site (beta) is on line.
You can access with
Thanks to Sunsite.Dk, I've now an rsync access: with rsync I can transfer
only newer files and delete automagically the old ones.
If you are a Linux user, you can access the whole site via rsync (read-only)
with this command:
# mkdir -p /root/mulinux
# rsync -vaP sunsite.dk::projects/mulinux/ /root/mulinux/
This will trasfer all to your directory /root/mulinux.
The old monolitic site was really ugly; this is my attempt to
create a rational structure for the site. I will add other
pages in the future.
I created these html pages using the M4 macro-processor.
The page x.html has a mirror page x.m4 on my hard-disk. The M4
processor trasform x.m4->x.html, resolving macros and include()
directives. this means: if I change a menu name in the menu column,
the change affects each page.
In this trasforming process, I can add run-time infos on the HTML.
You can see an example in the download.html page, where the
script do create on-the-fly the MD5 signature for each archive.
The site was create using the VI editor.
When I finished, I will send every *.m4 to Larry, and it
will check the english.
Suggestions are welcome, because the site is in progress.
Michele
