This will sometimes and somehow be the Manual for BacteriuM...

Step 1:
-------

Make the binary of BacteriuM by typing 'make'. Install the binary to a place
where you like it. I personally prefer /usr/local/bin but feel free to put
it elsewhere...

Step 2:
-------

Take a look at the example files. If these are rather old, they will produce
just silence. This is because of the master-volume keyword... This was
implemented a quite few hours before the initial release found it's way on
the ftp-server. If you run into this, just add a 'master-volume = 1.00' to
the according file. I'll fix these if I get enough time for it...

Step 3:
-------

You want to invent a new sound ? Fine ... If you want to do that with
BacteriuM you'll need a) some knowledge how the desired sound was or could
be created on real analouge synths b) an ASCII-Editor (Emacs or something
like that will do just fine) and c) some time to go through every single
parameter by hand.
