This is a minimal ramdisk filesystem for Linux/m68k 2.0.x/2.1.x with initrd. It
contains everything you need to install Linux/m68k from a hard disk partition.

Changes (relative to filesys-ELF-2.0.x-1400K):

  - Updated /etc/passwd and /etc/group (taken from a Debian system).

Notes:

  - Don't forget to add `root=/dev/ram' to the kernel command line.

  - Available executables (ELF):

      o sh, ash (ash-0.2)

      o vi, elvis (ELVIS-1.8pl4)

      o cat (GNU textutils-1.14)

      o chmod, chown, cp, dd, ln, mkdir, mknod, mv, rm, rmdir, sync (GNU
        fileutils-3.13)

      o expr (GNU sh-utils-1.12)

      o gzip (gzip-1.2.4)

      o login (miscutils-1.3)

      o ls (GNU fileutils-3.12 with color-ls patch 3.12.0.3)

      o tar (GNU tar-1.11.8)

      o mount, umount (mount-2.5p)

      o e2fsck, mke2fs (e2fsprogs-1.06-swap-fixed)

      o init, halt, reboot, shutdown (simpleinit)

      o getty, agetty, mkswap, swapoff, swapon, update

  - Available shared libraries (ELF):

      o ld-linux.so.1.8.5

      o libc.so.5.3.12

      o libcom_err.so.2.0

      o libext2fs.so.2.1

      o libtermcap.so.2.0.8

      o libuuid.so.1.0

  - There's no need to decompress this ramdisk image. The kernel will do this
    automagically.

  - The uncompressed ramdisk is 1400K large. The compressed image was padded to
    a multiple of 1024 bytes to make it work with 2.0.x kernels (bootinfo
    interface version 1.x).
