V1.0

   Initial version, much undocumented modification

V2.0a (1/3/1998)

   New features:

      * Status bar now has all sorts of data about the DEM.
      * Improved visual feedback for moving the light source.
      * Light source type changed from point to distant.
      * Light dialog added. User can enter the light's altitude
and azimuth and control whether or not the light icon
        is always visible.
      * Vertical Exageration dialog has been rearranged to
make the slider bar vertical and have the same sense
of direction as its effect. More intuitive?
      * Progress meter now shows rendering progress.
      * Water level tool. User can move a sheet of blue 'water' up
and down interactively between the minimum and maximum
        elevations in the DEM.
      * Option to use a wire frame "bounding box" as the lower resolution
representation for the DEM when manipulating it. This is more
useful than you might think. Drawing a wire frame box takes
_much_ less time than even a lo-res DEM. This means dem3d "feels"
        much faster.
