I've been looking at the JTAG core in the OpenCores archive.  The use of the falling edge of TCK for the FF driving the "Next BS Cell" makes perfect sense, however I was wondering why the "Update FF" was clocked by the falling edge of TCK too and not the rising edge of TCK ?  Does it have something to do with the timing of of UPDATE_DR signal(is its timing different from the CAPTURE_DR and SHIFT_DR signals) ?
