DETAILS ON THE INTERLEAF-ASCII RAINBOW MAKER (version 2 May 94) NOTE: The 2 May 94 version generates Rainbow DTD version 2.2 NOTE: Supports Interleaf ASCII v8.0; please examine the first line of your Interleaf ASCII documents to ensure compatibility. IAF2RB converts files encoded in Interleaf Ascii Format to Rainbow. The command line is as follows: iaf2rb [-x] input_file_name output_file_name [extraction_dir] Here's how graphics embedded in the Interleaf document are handled: If you do not specify the -x option, they are not extracted. If you do specify the -x option, they are extracted into the optionally specified extraction directory (default: current directory). Each graphic is extracted into an individual file whose name is 'xxxx####.ilg', where "xxxx" are the first four letters of the output file name, and "####" is a sequence number (starting with 0001). Known bugs: *) If your document contains nested subcomponents, nested NAMEDCLFs will result, but the 2.2 DTD does not allow nested NAMEDCLFs. *) If you have (sub)component names that contain SGML-markup characters (like "&"), invalid attribute values will be generated in the Rainbow.
