tsessreg(1) can be looked as a patch for X11R6.1's sessreg(1) on solaris2.5. the X11R6.1's sessreg(1) couldn't handle subdir in /dev. see tsessreg(1) man page for more information. the excutables include: tsessreg: binary excutable, invoked by Xstartup and Xreset Sessreg.rc: configuration file will be sourced by xdm_unleak, Xstartup and Xreset Xstartup: shell script see xdm(1) Xreset: shell script see xdm(1) xdm_clean.sh: shell script to fix both the file leak in /dev/xdm and slot leak in /var/adm/utmpx (by calling update_utmpx) update_utmpx: update utmpx file by fix the slot leak in utmpx . fwtmpx: a brother command of fwtmp(1). xdmpids.sh: shell script, get all the serving xdm pids. this package is built by imake(1): xmkmf make install install.man make clean if you had built your X11 tree other than /usr/X11, you need: modify Sessreg.rc Xstartup Xreset xdm_clean.sh to reset this path. author: tianhua han tian@aluxpo.micro.lucent.com or than@lucent.com btw: i am looking for a job. any help is appreciated.
