EUROBRIDGE MIME VIEWER: MIEW

Miew is an application using the EuroBridge Widget Set (Xew). The
primary purpose of 'miew' is to act as test platform for the widgets,
but some effort has been spent to make it also somewhat useful utility
for other purposes.
   
Miew can view plain RFC-822 formatted and extended (MIME) mail
messages individually (stored into a file) or in folder files. This
release understands RMAIL and Unix "From separated" folder files.
Additionally, it can by default read mh folders (because each message
in a mh folder is a file).

To install miew, the following are required (read also INSTALL document)

	- Unix, X11R5 or later,
	- Athena Widget Set (Xaw)
	- EuroBridge Widget Set (Xew) version 3.1 or later
		+ optionally JPEG/TIFF and RLE libraries,
	- ANSI C compiler

The source "Xew-3.1-Miew.tar.gz" unpacks into two directories

	./Xew-3.1/Mam/	- contains the MIME library and misc support
	./Xew-3.1/Miew/	- contains the miew application code
