38 Emacs Display

This chapter describes a number of features related to the display that Emacs presents to the user.

Refresh Screen: Clearing the screen and redrawing everything on it.
Forcing Redisplay: Forcing redisplay.
Truncation: Folding or wrapping long text lines.
