When I run a ./configure script, I get:

expr X [-|+|/|*|%] Y, or: expr [o|x] X
expr X [-|+|/|*|%] Y, or: expr [o|x] X
expr X [-|+|/|*|%] Y, or: expr [o|x] X
ld: not found
cc: not found
cc: not found
configure: error: can not guess host type; you must specify one.

Also when I reboot, some of the configuration changes I make to files in
/etc get re-written with default ones.

everything else is great for the limited space on the machine.
