??: [oc] Simulation Tools

hello,

First , I am agree with John.

Second ,XL and Modelsim are event-driven, so their simulation speed are
decreased when the size of design increased. NC and VCS are cycle-based
so when the design are very big, they should be better choices.

good luck.

Hello,

Can anybody please tell me the features and cost related differences in the following simulation tools;

1> NC Verilog from Cadence
2> Verilog XL from Cadence
3> VCS from Synopsys
4> Modelsim from Modeltech

So far I have worked only on the Modelsim and learning NC Verilog....

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
