Perhaps I can give the loan (without any interest), but several organization / companies should guarantee the return of the loan on certain period, even if the OpenRISC project failed. Perhaps 50 separate institutions that guarantee US$ 20000 each. :-)

Perhaps people from MS Windows CE DOT NET division, RedHat, Linux  / Ximian, Amiga DE, Java (Sun), QNX, WindRiver, Bochs,  LinuxBIOS, Project UDI, MOSIS, EuroPractice, CMC, CMP, VDEC, IDEC, CIC etc, VIA, ACER, FIC, SIS, VTECH (HK), Legend (China), Tata (India), various leading universities (MIT, Univ. of Beijing, Bangalore), Simputer, Baygen, TSMC / various foundries,  automotive companies, home appliances, several government and international organization officials (ESPRIT, UN ). 

I hope OpenRISC can be used on hand crank wireless PDA project for Africa and Asia.
