[openrisc] Problems building tools

I am having trouble building GDB. I have built binutils and gcc
successfully.

My system:

SuSE Linux 7.2:
Kernel 2.4.4-4GB
GCC 2.95.3

I did a CVS checkout of all stuff today at about 1600 GMT.

I get the following error:

make[1]: Entering directory `/home/sheaf/or1k-cvs/or1k/b-gdb/gdb'

I have tried GCC 3.2.1 and I can't even build binutils with that.
