[openrisc] Automake problem in or1ksim Installation

Hello,

I have been trying to install the or1ksim
architectural simulator but am unable to do so. I
could successfully install the binutils, gcc and gdb
tools, without any problems.

On my system, "uname -mrs" returns Linux 2.4.18-10
i686

After running the configure script, I execute "make
all install" which runs ok for a while and then starts
giving the following errors:-

configure.in:10: your implementation of
AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE comes from an

recreate aclocal.m4
configure.in:10: with aclocal and run automake again.
cpu/common/Makefile.am: required file `./depcomp' not
found
(gnudir)/gnu/share/automake-1.6/am/depend2.am: AMDEP

does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL

AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
configure.in:202: invalid unused variable name:

make[3]: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1
......

On my system, automake and aclocal both return version
1.6. I have not yet installed uclinux or uclibc. But
the problem appears to be with automake,  which I do
not know how to use.

Please let me know if you need more information in
this regards. I can post all the required log files if
needed.
