In contrast to our identification of A,k = ∂kA, Tonnelat and Mavridès use the comma differently when denoting the gravitational field by the three-index-variable ψpq,r := ∂pψqr − ∂qψpr. In her papers, the partial derivative is denoted strictly by ∂k or by ∇k [412*, 640*]. Indices are raised and lowered with the Minkowski metric.
